An approximate date for when the dress was made dates back to 3482 to 3102 BCE. This was then said to be the oldest dress in the world. This dress is now housed at the University College at the London Petrie Museum of Egyptian Archaeology.

Pyramids Built by Salaried Employees

While it was thought that slaves built the pyramids many of them got paid. Herodotus is now said to be built by employees and not laborers that spent countless hours working in the heat. As suggested by archaeological evidence the pyramids were built by paid employees. Around 5,000 salaried workers worked on the pyramids as well as an additional 20,000 temporary workers.

The Egyptians played a game called Senet or Senat which is the oldest board game. This game is dated back to 3100 BC. This game had three rows with ten squares each of which is called the house. The player will throw a stick to move their pieces around the squares. This game may not have formal rules and no one knows exactly what the rules were.
